Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

This policy applies to argeninc.com, to forms we host on third-party advertising platforms, to our resident billing and account portals, and to any other communication where you provide us with your information.

Who we are

Argen Inc. has provided water conservation, utility billing, and sub-metering services to multi-family housing since 1982. We work with property owners and managers nationwide, and we bill and support residents at properties our clients enroll in our programs.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you fill out a form on our website, request a bill audit, schedule a call, subscribe to our newsletter, download a resource, call us, or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, property information, and anything else you choose to include in your message.

Information collected through third-party lead generation forms

We advertise on third-party platforms, including LinkedIn. If you respond to one of our ads, you may submit your information through a form hosted by that platform without visiting our website. These forms may be pre-filled from your profile. We may receive your name, email address, job title, and company, along with any answers you provide on the form. We use it to respond to your request and to contact you about our services.

Your use of those platforms is also governed by the platform's own privacy policy, which we do not control.

Information we receive from property owners and managers

Our clients provide us with information needed to run billing and conservation services at their properties. This may include rent rolls, resident names, unit numbers, move-in and move-out dates, lease and occupancy details, and account status. We use this information to set up accounts, calculate charges, and provide services under our agreement with the property.

For these services, we act on behalf of the property owner or manager. If you are a resident and you want your information corrected or removed from a property's records, you may need to contact your property management office as well as us.

Information about residents and account holders

If you have an account with us, we may collect and maintain your name, service address and unit number, mailing address, email address, phone number, account number, water and utility usage data, meter readings, billing history, payment history, and correspondence with our customer service team. If you pay a bill online, payment information is submitted to our payment processor. [Confirm whether Argen stores any partial payment card or bank account information, and name the processor.]

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website or use our online portals, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Job applicants

If you apply for a position with us, we collect the information in your application and resume, including your contact details, work history, and education, and we use it to evaluate your application.
